About
Mature. Responsible. Trustworthy. Experienced.
The qualities that matter most when someone is caring for your home and your animals.
My Story
A Lifetime Living on a Farm Caring for Animals
I grew up as the daughter of an equine veterinarian in New York and Pennsylvania — which means animals were never a hobby or a side interest. They were simply life. From my earliest years I was learning how to read a horse's temperament, recognize signs of illness, manage a barn, and understand the rhythms of a working property. That education never stopped.
In 1994, I started a 501(c)(3), raising rare and endangered breeds of livestock and poultry to educate school children of all ages about farm stewardship and animal husbandry. I am very proud to be recognized by the Ag in the Classroom program with honors going to the family farm known as Chestnut Hollow Farm Learning Center.
Over the years I have cared for horses, livestock, poultry of all kinds, and every variety of household pet — dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more. I have managed estates ranging from modest country homes to large working farms, coordinating with veterinarians, farriers, contractors, and household staff on behalf of owners who trusted me completely.
What I bring to every engagement is not just experience — it is maturity, education, and a deep reservoir of common sense built over a lifetime of real-world responsibility. I know what to do when something unexpected happens, because something unexpected always happens. The question is whether the person caring for your property is prepared to handle it calmly and competently. I am.
